We deemed it necessary to release the following press statement upon the publication of  the news report in Sözcü newspaper  entitled, “4+4+4 Crashed Education System Changes Again”.

Pursuant to Law No. 6287 on the amendments in some legislations including the Primary Education and Education Law, 12 year compulsory education publicly known as 4+4+4 is being successfully implemented since the 2012-2013 education and training year. The ministry does not consider changing this into 5+3+4 as it is claimed in the news report. We would like to kindly inform the public.
